Who Would Have Guessed?

In a million and a half years, I would never have guessed that I’d be preparing for an Open Farm Day today!
Last year, my dream came true when I moved to our dream home and location and brought home our first five alpacas of color. Adding to them eight lovely whites and fawn colors, we added youth to our lovelies. Then this summer we had six healthy crias born to us — three males* and three females and our herd was even more youthful. Then, for good business and breeding sense, we bought two herdsires — Probee and Geoffrey — which ensures us amazing crias next summer.
Now back to Open Farm Day:
Kevin, Jessica, Sierra and Izabella (along with M and me) will be here to support your questions about alpacas and ensure you have a great time here.
*Enter the Guessing the Number of Alpaca Grains” contest
*For children, enter the Alpaca coloring contest.
*Buy a soda or water for $1
*Buy a bag of alpaca grain for $5 and feed the alpacas
*Take pictures of yourself with the alpacas
*Enter the Photo Contest
*Purchase stuffed alpaca critters, alpaca socks, alpaca shopping bags, alpaca children’s puzzles and more
*Purchase two or more alpacas from our herd
*Watch a spinning demonstration.
I’m checking my list to make sure I won’t forget anything, but I’ll count on missing a bunch!
