Circle Cliff’s Neapolitan Sundae “Polly” (Female Cria)
She’s a Harlequin with the Longest Black Eyelashes!
Talks to us when we come into the pasture, speaks when we're going to feed her, likes to have us around her
"Social butterfly" and loves to be around other alpacas and people
Outstanding daughter of "Redford" and Praline Sundae, our little "Polly" came into the world at around 2:20pm weighing 11.6 pounds. She was absolutely perfect and up and walking within the hour. At three weeks old, she was running circles around the aunties and her mother. Taking frequent breaks to nurse and snack on some grass hay, she was in charge!
Polly is certainly living life to the fullest. She’s often seen carrying around a piece of hay in her mouth, and running around with older half-sister, Cocoa Sundae. Her confidence and intelligence is outstanding! She approaches us letting us touch her. She has four white feet that are so dang cute with patches and spots of different colors all over her true black body.
At seven months, she easily eats grain from our hands. She had her cria tips shorn; her fleece is so very exquisite. We began halter training Polly and are excited to see her grow and play. She's spunky, smart, beautiful female! She's one to keep your eye on. It’d take someone really special to even tempt us to part with her.
We love watching her run with confidence. Her confirmation is beautiful. Her smile and long eyelashes melt our hearts when she greets us at the gate every time we come outside. Her sweet little noises are so cute. We cannot wait to see her first fleece, her "cria coat" and hold that in our hands. No doubt it will be as gorgeous as her genetics have passed on to her, or even better. It's built into her perfectly bred package.
